Take back your inbox.
Is your e-mail list overrun by messages that don't pertain to most members? Or worse, is it so locked down that only a select few can broadcast messages? Let GoZuus manage your e-mail and we'll help clean up everyone's inbox.
Get your e-mail organized.
With GoZuus, elected members can create e-mail lists for any purpose. The co-rec volleyball team can set one up so that the rest of your sorority doesn't have to hear about upcoming practices. The philanthropy committee can set one up for discussion as they organize an event.
Many groups even build multiple general-purpose lists: one for official announcements, another for discussion, and a third for jokes, links, and other nonsense that not all members may want to receive. The possibilities are endless, and GoZuus makes it all incredibly easy to manage. Your members will thank you, and with less messages to sort through the important ones are more likely to get read.
Consider the source.
Choose whether a list is optional or required for each type of members. For example, the "exec" list may be required for all elected officers, and optional for anyone else. You can also restrict who may send to each list. Limit announcement lists to members holding leadership positions, or even just site administrators. Discussion lists can be opened up to any subscriber, so all members can communicate freely.
Reach out beyond your members.
Provide a discussion list for alumni and let them use it to reminisce about the glory years and announce major life events to their old friends. (Or let them get into heated political debates...it's their list!) Providing services like this to alumni members is a great way to help them stay involved in supporting your group.
Keep the parents happy.
GoZuus supports parent e-mail lists as well. A few occasional announcements and newsletters each year will win over their hearts and help your group stand out in the crowd.
More than just lists.
Set up addresses for members holding leadership positions. You can direct president@ or treasurer@ to the members holding those specific positions. Now, when vendors or other third parties need to contact the leaders of your group, they'll always be getting in touch with the correct person.
Master your own domain.
Already have a website for yourgroup.com? Configure your domain to use GoZuus as your mail servers, and your e-mail lists will run @yourgroup.com. Aliases move as well, so names like president@yourgroup.com will always direct to the correct person.
